Oogwereld Group is a company with several optician's shops. We provide eye care to our customers. In doing so, we process privacy-sensitive information, also known as personal data. In some cases, we collaborate with other organizations or companies.

We share the information you provide with third parties if this is necessary for the delivery of or provision of services related to the products you ordered or the services you requested. For example, we use a third party to process iDeal payments in our webshop and we share your information with the postal service to deliver your order to you.
When we provide your data to a third party, we ensure (through an agreement) that your data will not be used for other purposes. We also agree that your data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer needed.
Furthermore, we will not share the information you provide with third parties unless legally required or permitted. For example, the police may request information from us as part of a fraud investigation. In that case, we are legally obligated to provide this information.

We combine your personal data from various sources (such as your account information and your purchases in our webshop) to provide you with the best possible online experience. We also combine this data with information you have provided on or through one of our websites, namely:

To prevent misuse, we ask that you properly identify yourself with a copy of a valid ID when submitting a written request for access. Don't forget to obscure your Citizen Service Number (BSN) and passport photo on the copy. You can use the "KopieID" app for this, for example.
When requesting specific measurement data, such as refraction, we are required to charge a €69 fee for expenses. For this fee, you will receive a clearly legible report containing your personal measurement data.
11. Dutch Data Protection Authority
We are happy to assist you if you have any complaints about the processing of your personal data. Should you nevertheless be unable to reach an agreement with us, you also have the right, under privacy legislation, to file a complaint with the privacy supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority. You can contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority for this purpose.
