Theo

Humorous and surprising Belgian design.

Quirky & Colorful

Theo is a quintessential Belgian brand, originating in Antwerp and Bruges. The name Theo is an anagram of the surname of Patrick Hoet, one of Theo's designers. He joined forces with Wim Somers years ago, laying the foundation for Theo. Today, Theo is an indispensable part of the optical world; the brand has become a household name.

Theo's breakthrough

It all started at a major optician's fair in Paris (Silmo). By selling frames on the steps of the fair, the Theo brand quickly caught the attention of several leading opticians. This gave Theo its first small breakthrough!

Humorous and surprising

Theo frames are incredibly recognizable. The brand is characterized by designing exclusive, innovative, and surprising frames. Humor and uniqueness are essential! A Theo frame can be considered a true work of art, lovingly designed and produced in small quantities. Together with the opticians, Theo aims to continue surprising consumers and offering them a unique experience. Despite Theo frames frequently appearing in the fashion displays of many opticians, Theo consistently succeeds in selectively distributing beautiful, colorful glasses.
