What is a hearing test?
A hearing test measures your hearing. This not only determines whether your ear is functioning properly, but also which part of your hearing is functioning properly and what the cause is. A hearing test can also determine the degree of hearing loss. During the test in the store, you'll be given special headphones. These completely block out your ears, preventing you from being bothered by ambient noise. Because hearing loss involves not only loudness but also pitch (frequency), we'll play a series of beeps.
