How do I care for my contact lenses?
It's important to handle your contact lenses hygienically, regardless of the type of lens.
- Always wash your hands before you start
- Usage no tap water to rinse your contact lenses and contact lens case. Lens solution is specially formulated for this purpose.
- Always use the correct solution in combination with the contact lenses you are wearing.
- Do not use contact lens solution that is past its expiration date or from a bottle that has been opened for too long.
- Clean the contact lens holder every day after use and change the solution in the contact lens holder every day.
- Replace your lens cases at least every three months
- Hygiene is important to prevent inflammation and damage.
NB!
Our drinking water contains certain bacteria and parasites that can contaminate the cornea and lead to corneal inflammation.
This phenomenon is becoming more and more common. So make sure water doesn't come into contact with your lenses or contact lens cases. Also, never insert your lenses with saliva, as this also contains many bacteria that are harmful to the eyes.
We recommend our customers put on their contact lenses before applying makeup. This reduces the risk of makeup getting on the lenses. To remove makeup, it's best to remove your lenses first.
Hygiene is paramount when using lenses safelyÂ
