How does a hearing test work?
Before the hearing test, our audiologists will ask you a few questions. They'll want to know more about your personal preferences, medical history, and any current hearing aids you use. This way, the audiologist can get a clear picture of your situation and experiences.
After your ear canal and eardrum have been checked, you can put on headphones and begin the hearing test. You'll hear sounds that vary in pitch and volume. You'll be asked to press a button as soon as you hear a sound. The sounds will be played alternately to your left and right ears.Â
After the hearing test, the audiologist will discuss the results with you. If there is any hearing loss, the cause will be discussed, and you will receive professional advice on a suitable hearing solution.Â
Thanks to technological innovations, hearing aids are more advanced than ever. They are also so small these days that they are often invisible when worn.Â
