Night lenses for children

Night lenses are sometimes mentioned to slow the decline of vision. Many opticians advise against this product for young children. That is not necessary at all. Especially in growing children, night lenses can help slow this decline. Strict checks four times a year and the right discipline in the child to handle the night lenses properly are required.

My own experience

As a glasses wearer with a prescription of over -6.5, I know better than anyone how limiting a high prescription can be. The foundation for this substantial prescription was laid in my youth, during my growth. This still means I wear custom-made glasses for everything every day. Regular glasses, contact lenses for sports, prescription sunglasses, and even custom-made diving goggles.
