The brand "Tartine et Chocolat" was born in 1977. Catherine Painvin searched in vain for comfortable and soft clothing with a chic touch for her baby. This resulted in her own designs under the name "Tartine et Chocolat." Initially, the brand marketed children's clothing, but later also expanded into furniture for the nursery and—happily—children's glasses.
