First a word of explanation about daily lenses
What are weekly lenses?
Biweekly lenses are made with a slightly thicker lens material than daily lenses. This allows you to wear these weekly lenses for a longer period of time, up to 7 days continuously (day and night) or 14 days during the day only. This provides a flexible solution where you decide exactly when to change your contact lenses. Because of their slightly thicker design, weekly lenses can correct, in addition to the classic vision correction for farsightedness or nearsightedness, also cylindrical vision defects (e.g., astigmatism) or be made in a multifocal version. This means you don't even need reading glasses anymore.
Some advantages of weekly lenses
- You can, but don't have to, replace weekly lenses every day. Some contact lens wearers can also wear them overnight, meaning they can wear the same contact lenses for 7 days.
- Thanks to the relatively short wearing time, your contact lenses always feel fresh and hygienic. Even after two weeks of wearing, we notice only minimal oil and dirt particles on the lens.
- Due to their relatively high oxygen permeability, weekly lenses retain moisture well. This is a big plus for people who are prone to dry eyes.

Well maintained!
If you choose weekly lenses and don't wear them continuously, but only occasionally, it's crucial to clean and care for them properly. So don't forget to order some accessories for your weekly lenses, such as lens solution or eye drops.
